What Tap2Cal stores

Tap2Cal stores only the data you enter when creating an event: event name, date, time (optional) and time zone. No user accounts are created, no email addresses are collected and no cookies are set.

All events are automatically deleted 14 days after the end date. Manual deletion is possible by contacting [email protected].

Infrastructure & data processing

Tap2Cal uses Google Firebase (Google LLC, USA) as its technical infrastructure. Data is stored in the region europe-west3 (Frankfurt). Google acts as a data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Further information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Server logs

Firebase Hosting and Cloud Functions automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamp when accessed. These logs are deleted by Google after a maximum of 30 days and are used exclusively for troubleshooting.

No analytics, no tracking

Tap2Cal does not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels or any other analysis tools. No data is passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.

Legal basis

The processing of event data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures), as storage is necessary to provide the service.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. Please contact [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority is the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).

Changes to this privacy policy
